  • scrambler motor question

What is the average size in a marc XII? i have a 10hp briggs, a 18 hp vanguard, or a 20hp koler would like to know what yall think

they originally came with 8, 10, 16. I think I would go with the 10 but if your driveline is in great condition and maybe beefed up a little you could probably go with the 18

Every stock marc XII I have seen has had a 12 hp Tecumseh in it.
I would agree and stick with the 10. Though it would probably hand the 18 but its probably not needed unless your racing it and in that case the rotors/clutch wont handle it. JerseyBigfoot has some more experience with racing scrambler department.

We once drove my brothers 12hp scrambler packed with 7 guys, some bigger guys too all over the place. That was a lot of weight. We even went up and down a table top jump for bikes and everything.

Im sure you could. Main thing is to cover up the chains. If it wasnt for them, you wouldnt need the floor so much. Im interested in taking a look at your machine. Do you have any pictures?

If you can't fly you might as well float...
