The cowling you are talking about is a heat deflictor so as long as you have the room around it so it dont get the body to hot it would be ok to remove it. hope this helps brushcutter

Thanks Panther, the tin needs to go for a couple reasons. The exhaust needs to be changed to allow some different mods. The rear cover will not be an issue, as it wil be replaced by a custom light gage metal cargo box.
