I have used flex pipe on cars for a quick repair works ok except I only get 3 or 4 months tops out of it.  My question is how does it hold up on an aatv.  I want to use black pipe but can not figure out how attach it to engine I cant weld anyone have any ideas I'm running a kohler 20 hp

I think the problem is that you posted that you don't want to weld anything. If you are going to build something yourself then you need to weld the exhaust or at least weld flanges to the header. Using an original muffler stores a great deal of heat .
This is very evident if u use the box /cylinder type that installs across both cylinder heads . kohler or vanguard engines etc
If at all possible run an inline muffler in the direction of air flow coming of the cyllinder heads . All the exhaust heat exits .
The other is to place a 2 into 1 exhaust into a muffler [prefer with spark arrestor ]
and allow pipe work to exit body .
The above has been used on a friends argo with great succes
I shifted the box muffler inside body to a cylinder muffler located between the wheels outside the body on a swamp fox with great results
Suggest that u download some of the pics that r on this site and have fabricated at a exhaust shop .The short pipes from the clinder head can be cut off the original set up and reused .
