Those are my tracks!! Can't wait to get them and try them out. Suppose to arrive on the truck tomorrow. I was having problems here on the platte river with exiting the soft sand banks and crossing the soft sand bars in the middle of the river. After reading alot on here and service from Tim and Mike when i got my frontier 8x8 i decided to finally bite the bullet and order a set.

Man im jealous. So do the original chain style adair tracks swim that well on a argo 8x8 or is it that the rubber belt style tracks makes that much of an improvement in the water speed department? Im very impressed.HUSTLER 980 NOS BUILD

Got the tracks on monday and installed them tuesday night on my frontier 8x8. I took them out for a little test last night. Didn't stay out too long because it started lightning bad(too bad it didn't actually rain). We have been in a drought here so there was not enough water to swim the machine, but it was about a foot deep water and then all sand bottom so played anyway. Let me say i am definatly pleased. I went straight across the river with no problems at all. Something with just tires and with tires and 4 j-wheels i could not previously do without getting it burried in the sand. After that i played on a couple sand bars that were 2 to 3 feet staight up to get on them. The tracks would spin a little and start to dig in and then right up the little bank i would go. After that i took it out in the middle of the river and tried to turn a circle. I could not do this at all with the tires or j-wheels previously. The track that was turning dug in and spun some but around it would go. I did have to let it go straight some to get the engine to gain some revs as that sand does make it bog while turning. By now the lightning was picking up and dark was setting in so decided better call it quits. On exiting the river decided to see if it would climb straight from the water up a steep bought 5 foot high sand bank. Right up and out i went. I am qurious how it will do both swimming and hitting a sandbar while the back tires are still floating. If it does anything like today i should have no problems. I might try to get a little video next week. 88 yesterday and only 48 today with chance of snow this weekend so doubt the wife will volunteer to come film me till it warms up next week.
