  • Innova Tires

    Hi All
I have an opportunity to get a free brand new set of Innova Cayman AT tires 25x13.00-9
I know our wheels are 8 inch (MAX ll) These are already mounted on the rims. Does anyone know if the bolt pattern for the standard Max rims and the 6 wheel gator rims are the same? If these will work then free is good. I am not concernerd about going in the water with these.

    Thanks
    Larry

25" tires will not fit your maxII without modifications.
Free is always good though, snap them up and resell them if need be to finance tires that will work.

I have 25" rawhides on my maxII. It's not hard to do. Just heat the lower tub where the tire is with a heat gun. I made a wood mold that I put on a jack under the tub, heat the body and jack it till I have a small wheel well, then let it cool.

I wonder why this isnt a factory option if it isnt that hard to do?I know they would not want to modify their existing mold and wouldnt want to have another made, but as the demand wouldnt be tremendous they could do this modification at the factory at little cost. I think Max needs some new models such as a Bigfoot Max II.

Member egoperf is running 25x12-9 rawhideIII tires which are actually closer to a 24" diameter. Most 25" tires will be just under 25" depending on rim width. The ones I'm running are approx 24 3/4", but My MaxII is far from stock. http://www.6x6world.com/forums/max-a...-tall-tub.html
Here is a thread by administrator Mike http://www.6x6world.com/forums/max-a...es-max-ii.html that is good reading.
A MaxII has axle spacing of 25" center to center, so a smaller than 25" diameter tire is all that will ever fit...without modifications like I did.
