  • Argo Conquest Fat Foot (Tire and Rim info).

Well after much research and frustration at times, I ordered 6 TSL Vampire blems form Interco for $55 a piece in 22x12.50x9. I also ordered 8 Argo Bigfoot rims in 9x10 for Jed's Tire Wholesale for $59 a piece. I need to get a couple of more Vamps, but I need to find the best price for two new non blems.

I wanted a pretty serious/tough mud/snow/rock tire that could swim and these appear to be it besides the Argo tires. I had the 24" on my Avenger and they were great tires, but I wanted to try something new and not spend that much. My time spent in the water is very limited, but I did want something that would propel my machine.

I was also drawn to this wide tire for water because I have an aluminum hard top on my Conquest and I thought that the wider tires would give it a bit more side to side stability with the extra weight up top.

I have heard and seen (videos) of this tire being very good traction wise and I am hoping it will be the closest thing to the ASX Vamp for my machine.

I will keep you guys updated with pics and reviews.

Here's the best price I have found on the 22x12.5x9 TSL vampires and free shipping if you order over a $100, I haven't ordered through this website tho. I'm thinking about putting these tires on my Attex in the future.

Ive got the TSL vampires on my Mule...they are ignorant tires...very ignorant. lol Dont ride around in your yard if you value how your grass looks cuz it wont take long to destroy the grass...even on something that actually steers and has a limited slip diff in it.. If i lock in my diffs, and throw it in 4wd its a freaking roto-tiller on tires! hahaha And if you wanna really get some digging action, air them down and let em eat..haha. Yinz have been warned!!

            i actually want these...

Here are some pics of the new Vampires.

I got a pleasant surprise when the rims arrived from Jed's wholesale on Ebay. They weren't the older Bigfoot painted rims that were pictured. They were the new powder coated rims with the grease hole access and the valve stem on the inside of the rim.

The only concern I have with these is the rim seems to be a little exposed, because they are so wide.P1010001.jpgP1010002.jpgP1010010.jpgP1010006.jpgP1010005.jpg

Argo Conquest with Vampire TSL tires.

I am dying to try these out. They are 22x12.50x9. They seems to run a hair under 22", which Interco has them listed as 21.8". Width wise mounted they are around 11.5".

I put them on Argo 9x10 rims that I bought from Jed's Wholesale on E-Bay. I got a surprise when they weren't the older painted Bigfoot rims that were pictured. These are the newest ones for Argo that are powered coated, have the grease access hole, and the valve stem on the inside of the rim. I paid $59 each and Argo wants $90.

Well for goodness' sake, go try them out!

They look great. For a 22" tire on a 9" rim, they look to have a pretty decent amount of sidewall cushion from what I'd expect.

I rode Scott's 950 Hustler with the Vampire TSL, 25x9 tires on it ,and the soft side walls of this tire ride really nice.

Nice to know there is another tire option for the older machines, they look nasty on there, curious as to the ride comfort on a Conquest.

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.

Those tires look as if they are going to serve you well. I would love to see how they perform on an 8x8. Try letting the tires paddle in the water keeping your RPM's down. I would love to see some side by side mud hole runs against other 6x6 machines. I gotta believe that combination is going to work well for you. Keep us informed.

TSL's on my MaxIV had a very good ride, they should be even better on an 8x8
