TSL's on my MaxIV had a very good ride, they should be even better on an 8x8
I will give you guys an update when I try them out. I put them on and then I got real busy with projects around the house. I am hoping to get out next weekend and try and find some mud and water to play in.

At 3 PSI they seem to have the same "squish" to them as a Rawhide III. That is just me using my foot as a gauge and pushing in firmly on them. That is good in my book, because I was a little worried about them being too stiff because they are 6 ply. I just need to get out and try them out.

      First test ride

I took the Conquest out yesterday for a rainy day ride. This is the fisrt time this Argo has been driven on tires (normally tracked). I found a little bit of mud and a pond to swim in. The vamps ride better than I expected on hard pack and rocky terrain. I was a little concerned with them being 6 ply and not having a lot of sidewall cushion with the 9" rims. They steer great and give a ride I would say is equal to Rawhide IIIs. I was running them at 2.75 PSI. I would say in mud as long as you don't high center they will pull you through and when the dirt/dusty road became play dough like with the rain, they do not plug up and keep you tracking straight.

In water I found that they swim, but when I wanted to turn, the side that was engaged would actually push me laterally. This gave me poor steering control in the water going forward. I am running the tires in the correct directional pattern as you would on a quad. I ran them at about 1/2 throttle as some guys were saying these swim best that way. Now in reverse, with the tires oriented backwards or the correct way most chevron type tires are ran on ampibs, they worked well, gave good speed, and they steered correctly as if on land.

I am going to swap them around and re-test them to see if they still swim well. I am going to attempt to attach some poor quality videos.http://youtu.be/arJtA6tgm7I
