max 2 adair tracks

Which type of track is the adair? Are those the all plastic tracks that Richard relics sell? If so I have a set on one of my max II. Only have used them so far in snow. It's spring now and I'm skeptical on using them Cuz worried of wearing them out on gravel

thanks for all the feedback guys. we don't get a lot of snow, i just love tracks. probably be in mud more than snow. like down at busco beach. would like to know the difference in tracks like the adair or chanel that have belting only on the sides compared to the plastic or belted that are solid all the way across. i realize alot of choice has to do with conditions i will be riding in mostly. just would like a good all around track. any feedback on the one's richards relics sell? we just had 18'' plus snow here and it was a bummer i could'nt go riding. i figure for all the years i will be riding,tracks are worth the purchase. johnboy va.

I am not sure, but I don't think there is a snow kit for the maxll.

I've installed several sets of Adair tracks with and without the snow extensions. If your are going the purchase a set get the snow kit with it. It's removable for summer use and necessary for snow more than 12". We have a couple feet on the ground since November and will probably be with us till April. I feel the stock rubber tracks are better in snow but all other terain Adairs are great and don't require the horsepower to drive them.

I know , that an Argo Frontier 6x6 is not a Max 2 , but I have a set of the Adair Tracks (chain) 14" and no off-sets used they are all that has been said about them and the videos are awesome for showing what they can do , ... , but wet snow here in NE has shown that it can be a problem they have so much bite that it is very easy to dig in and high center in wet snow , this could be my bad driving or just the nature of the beast. Wider track may add enough to make a difference as to how much the machine will float /sink in deep wet snow I have no experience with the wider tracks other than the stock super tracks on my friends 2000 Big Foot . ... If the track has any grip you will move deep powder snow , mud , rough ground ,, etc etc etc , wet snow as long as it is not deep enough to lift the machine off of traction they will get you where you want to go and back again ... JMHO ...YMMV
How often do you get deep snow and what kind wet/ powder?

I run them. I would not give them up for anything. I can plow up a 10' snow bank and drive right over it. Mud, no problem! Worth ever penny.easy to install and a blast to tear up the neighborhood with. You can't go wrong, no matter what Buzz says.

would like to hear who is running the adair tracks on their max 2. thinking about buying the set with the aluminum offset rims,20'' tires and the tracks.how are they in deep snow, mud etc. any used sets for sale? johnboy va.
