Argo Carlisle Tires 25x12-9 on a Max II

I am pritty sure the Argo 9" wheel has a deeper inner offset. A stock Max II wheel has an 4" inner offset. This will efect tire rub for sure !

I want to run the argo 8 inch wheels are they as good as the k locks

Best bet is to keep an eye out on hear for a set of Max wheels for sale. I am sure someone has some laying around ? I have an extra set in the shop but rite now I am in the middle of setting up a second tire combo. But if I go to a diferent wheel combo I may cut them loose ??
Are you setting up an older machine for this bolt pattern or are you starting out fresh ? Reason I ask is you can at this startin point set up an ATV pattern to a readally avalible wheel.
I have a shop called ReWheel here in lower ,PA and refurbish go cart wheels and we are starting to branch out into the atv wheels. Rite now I am working on doing a 9" and 10" wheel to fit the Max II. Still in the starting stages but looks promissing. Will have farther info after we test a set. The stock Max and Argo use a 5 on 4.5" bolt pattern (same as a ford car) so this makes wheels hard to get. The only atv wheel even close is a Yamaha Raptor with a 4 on 115mm. but thats another story ! If I can be of any help just hit me up.

I have a 98 max 2 the wheels are rusted very bad around the wheel lip and I had to glue them on with right stuff gasket maker it works great for holding the tires on and my tires are dry rotted bad but still hold air so far

I searched through my pics and must have deleted the photos. From memory I can tell you the 24" Argo tires fit both my green and tan Max2 with plenty of room to spare above and between the tires. These tires vary a good amount in size and at 4 psi really stand an average of 23" in height. They should fit any Max2 even with some body sag.

I spoke with Brandon and he said that I should just put 22 argo tires on but I can get 24 inch ones so u think I have a chance to them fitting with out modding the body did u have any problems with the muffler tubing the tire thanks

My machines have the internal mufflers. The external muffler might interfere. Surely someone within a 100 mile radius will chide in with a set you can test fit.

How much room did u have from the top of the body to tire I have measured as much as I can and it looks like it should fit

I am lookingvto buy a used set so I should be good as long as I don't run to much air in them
