what is the biggest tire that fits on a max II

I am looking at a set of argo tires and I was thinking of getting a set of the 24 i think there od is 23 so I thought it might fit. it would be nice to have a bigger tire but if not I will go with the 22 argo tires what do u all think of the argo tire and how are the argo wheels. thanks

Cbass shoe-horned a set of 25 DirtDevils with spacers on his MaxII,,, check out his pics!!! They swim and mud very well by the way!!

There has been a lot of talk on this subject before, and many threads to reference...
Let me recap quickly for you. A MaxII has axle to axle spacing of 25", so a true 25" tire will rub. Tubs sag over time, but can be reshaped with a little effort.
If you want bolt on and go, stick with 22" RawhideIII's or similar.
If you want to do a little work and get the best performance possible, there are several 25" tires that run small enough to work.

Yea there is so many different opinions on the subject I don't know what will work so u think the argo 24s would be to big

Well I got my 24 inch argo tires and on front axle they hit the body so I am not sure what I am going to do now I may try to put some thick rubber on top of the tire and heat the body to give me some room but I may just sell the tires and buy ones that fit I am not sure yet

If your lower is poly I would go the heat the tub route. I think you will like those tires once your up and running on them.

If you can find or make a curved piece of wood wide enough, that's what I would use to reshape the tub in addition to a heat gun. There is a lot to be said about running the absolute biggest tires you can.

As long as it looks professional, it would actually make it sell faster in my opinion. I don't think the actual value will change, but given the choice between bigger tires or smaller, I would always choose bigger as long as they are appropriate for the application.

OK so I put all of them on and the right side dose not rub at all it fits nice now the left side looks like the tub is a little different so I heated it up and put a peace of 1x4 inch poly sheet between the two tires and the lifted the left side up an 1/2 inch now it is good for now

MaxII should come this way rode it around the house rides way better very smooth I am interested in how these swim on a max II
