The tankette project continues. The T-20 has 2 lower rails bolted to it - basically in a permanent fashion for the life of this vehicle, with the 4 lower mounting bolts. This first picture shows that area.

These bolts could be tack welded to their rails, etc. so that they don't come out. Will I still be sorry for not using the upper 4 bolts? Their are certain restrictions for servicing the T-20 that prohibit further welded frame across the top of the T-20, but I could bolt upper rails on to the T-20 and then bolt that to the frame. The lower rails sit on slotted framework for fine adjustment of the T-20 fore and aft.
