What can I use for the band adjustment tools since I don't have a set what thickness are they and what can I use I took apart my trans and you can see the grease marks on the bolts but I'm reusing my bands I need some help with this one

I bought a set from Richards relics for $25. Worth it. Makes adjusting the bands easy.
You will need an Inch-Pounds wrench (not FOOT-pounds). I got mine off amazon.
Stand for the Flag. Kneel for the Cross.

The tools are .187 " thick. You want .312 total movement on a plunger. If you get it close and reinstall it in the chassis setting the total movement of the sticks is the best way to go. A max II should have 5.5 to 6 inches of total movement measured at top of sticks. Max IV needs 7" because the sticks are longer. Movement at transmission is the same. Hope this helps.
