My driven clutch appears to be stuck open. The Max2 appears to be only very lightly used, but did sit for a long time. I'm trying to avoid removing the transmission. I've tapped it pretty good with mallets, but is there a tip anyone has to getting it moving again without pulling the whole transmission to pull the clutch off?

If your driven (trans mounted) stuck is closed in order for it to open one would need to twist and push/pull depending on whether it's mounted or not as it is under spring pressure to keep closed. If it is the drive clutch ( engine mounted) closed see the thread below this one.sigpic
My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
