That must been really tight
Hi I can think of one way that be alot simple than pulling your transmission and that is to go to the hardware store and ask for pipe remover kit. The kit has several different sizes of drill bits as well as several different sizes of opposite threaded bits the odd bits have a square tip so that you can use a adjustable wrench. You simpliy drill a small hole in the middle of that drain plug then you place the special tip into that hole tap it in with a hammer then just unscrew the stuck plug .I've used this type of kit before to remove a oil drain pipe which broke once in my max-2.
