I have had the pins break on my t20 also (user error ), the first time i replace it with a press fit rod . the next time I ended up drilling the hole and tapping it for a threaded shouldered stud and have had no problems since. If i run into the problem again i will just buy new ones . (if i had known i would have bought them in the first place)

put stops on the diamonds?

I had been having problems shifting and had a shift pin go bad a few times on my Maxx IV. I built some spring loaded shift levers and now have had a pin shear again. I see that I might need stops on my diamonds. Can someone explain how to do this and how I know how much of a stop I need? I have always thought that the transmission was shifting not far enough into gear causing the wear, but now I see it could be overshifting.

I'm interested to see how you set your stops up as well. Seems that making them adjustable would really be the trick.
