you can try member "obsessed" or "planetaux" (not sure on correct spelling)...try giving them a PM and see what each can do for you. or can place add in wanted section on this forum or other classified sections on the net.
Even if you’re on the right track, you’ll get run over if you just sit there.

Adair 17" classic tracks are 1800 or Argo 13" standard tracks are 1600. I would opt for the Adair as They would handle year around conditions better and would turn your Conquest into a tank!

The Adair classic is what I was think of. Have you run them before? How much of a difference would the be in snow and muck? Do you know if they swim at all? Sorry for all the questions. And thanks for the suggestions.

Yes the adair tracks swim. You can use them all year long and they do make a big difference in the muck.

I have not run them, but I have ran both the Argo standard and Supertracks. The Argo tracks do well in snow and are okay in muck, but they will wear quickly in terrain other than snow. The Argo tracks as they come use a "negitive" traction aid. Meaning that the mud/snow is pushed up into the track pattern, where the Adair have aggressive grousers (positive) stciking out from the belting that paddle you through the goo/snow.

My Supertracks have 6" angle iron cleats to help paddle in the snow and do quiet well. They would not be good in harder terrain though.

What about tire chains? I figured in up to 10" of snow it should help right?

Tire chains won't give you much floatation in snow. Once the snow gets deep enough that the tub holds your tires up you'll be stuck.

I have had tire chains on everything from truck to tractors. After time I had the same problem with all of them. The chains wear and fly off. I would worry about that with a cold plastic body.

I've never had much luck running my Argos in the snow without tracks. Ya, you can get around, if the snows not too deep.
Chains/Studs will help on hard pack, but do nothing in the powder.

I was hoping the chains would help in snow covered tussocks (bunch of hip deep hills). I anti spate less than 10" of snow..... More like 4-6. I was hopping that it would assist in driving over trees that are layed down too. Thanks for the input guys! I have v-bar chains for the front four tires and last two (it is an 8 wheeler)

Hopefully I made the right choice. Tracks are ordered.
