    I am using the one from a 1983 16hp Tec. but i noticed it looks different than most other ones that i see in pics of the Tec singles, but it works just like a gasser, no difference in RPM's at any speed. riot i have been checking it over every five mins to make sure nothing is comin loose, i guess i picked a good one. So i have an intercooler from a turbo Pontiac Firefly but where do i get the turbo from? i see guys on youtube Turbocharging little 5 hp Honda motors for go carts, but i have no idea what they would steal the turbo from?? its a real shame that there is soo much room for a turbo too, its just asking for one, and if i blow it up i'll just take it back and grab another one

      Hey eightwheeler;

      Again; great work! I was wondering what you're useing for a charging system. Does the diesel have a system? If so, what is it rated at? If not, what are you useing? You have to have something to recharge the battery; right?
      It's all just nuts and bolts.

        Yep the Diesel has a charging system, i have no idea how many amps it is though, i looked all through the manual and it says nothing about it

          I saw that motor in the Princess flyer and I wondered about it as well, I just figured it was going to be another power fist piece of $%$#. Very interesting results though! So torque is unreal, what do you figure about your top speed? I guess if RPM is the same then speed should be the same too?

            Yes sir top speed is no different, although i have tracks on too so i will see how it is without the tracks, i have been riding around climbing hills with it and it is crazy, i can actually play with the throttle while climbing, thats turnin 8 wheels and tracks, i really like the outcome of the swap, i just hope it last's

              Just and update, i was out in it today in the local swamp/mud/trails/river trying to break it, but it just kept going, i was towering down 10ft weeds making my own trail down to the water, i love it so far so good

                  Hi, nice work, sorry if i say that, but i had doubts in the power before you told that it works.
                  I once had a Max II which is much smaller, with less weight and with a Borg Warner transmission so it dont loose power on steering. And i installed a Hatz BT 30 Diesel engine with 7 hp but it did not pull the sausage from the dish like we would say here. The rpm was to low to open the clutches completely, so it ran only about 10 mph and everything about 15 degree was not possible. And the sound was so awfull that you thought that this monster behind you wants to come through the seat.

                    Sorry to say i had 19+ hours of fun with her but i actually took the Diesel back out of it, ONLY because i take alot of friends and family with me for rides and the diesel was simply tooooooo loud to have fun with kids, if it was just me riding i didn't mind the sound at all but yeah they are really loud
