but I would stay with the 1L for parts availability or go with the 4 stroke snowmobile engine (or jetski engine)2008 MAX-IV 500T 30hp Bandolero

My m18 kohler starter packed it in just when I wanted the Argo to be up and running. It was just as easy to pull the engine to get at the starter than to stand on my head to get the starter off. While the engine was out I thinks to myself, it's getting hard to start, smokes a bit, maybe I'll pull the heads and have a little boo. SO, now I'm into rebuild mode when I came across the Chevy engine swap and a light went off in my head. Is there any pics of the installation floating around? I am going to try and locate a Sprint in the nieghbourhood before I stick any money in the Kohler.

As I just finished the HomeMade tracks project and I'm always thinking about something new, I went under the Max IV hood to take some measurements.
To make this fit, I would need a custom oil pan and pick-up tube along with the new "tall" engine cover RI is using on the big Kohlers.
I wonder how they made it fit under the Argo hood.2008 MAX-IV 500T 30hp Bandolero
