Well on autocad it works out to about 8.5 inches max. So in reality I will get about 6.5 to 7 inches maybe. I was glad to read about the spring rates you chose, over many years of playing with jeeps offroad I got into the workinngs of shocks,but never had to choose custom spring rates. There were so many manufacturers that had the kit for what you were going to do.
This gets a little more involved,you know vehicle weight vs.comfort for an old guys butt, oh wait that was controlled suspension movement.
I considered the formed arms, but didn't have access to a press brake.
At work I have 2 cnc lathes,and 4 cnc machining centers, at home i have an old cnc bridgeport retrofit, and my lathe,so I guess I made my choice for practicallity, I just didn't have a consistant way of bending several peices.
