lewis- thanks for all your input! i also sent Ken an email to see what he might have. Been doing my homework on machines and narrowed down to what I want. Pricing on limited inventory has been all over the map. If I can convince the wife, I may buy new but hey, who deosn't want to save a buck! Last question {for now} what are your thoughts on the the 580 v 650 or 650 HD? Will I be able to go over same terrain, mud, hills etc with either? Not planning on any heavy hauling or towing. Mostly myself and daughter {5} will make up cargo. We dont have a lot of deep mud up here in NH so would be minor mud and small water crossings. Thanks again forn taking the time to respond. This is a big purchase new or used and not knowing anything about these machines, I feel a little like the old lady at the auto mechanic shop!

I want to sell the machine 'cuz my wife just had a hip replacement and literally can't get into it anymore. So, until or unless I get something else, we're done riding together. So, can anyone tell me where is the best place to adverytise and sell this ARGO? If anyone here is interested, I have lots of pictures I could send you. Thanks!

Hi,
My name is Loyal Auterson and I live in the Ozarks. I day to day I am involved in agro-forestry, permaculture and low impact land management. I also serve as a Staff Officer in a US Army Civil Affairs unit that routinely deploys to Africa. I am often accompanied by my dog, Tuck.
My dad used a diesel powered KID in Ethiopia to do humanitarian work when I was a child. I think of the KID as a tractor more and as a vehicle less. We are want to develop relationships in the current KiD community. Are there any KID owners near Springfield, MO?

My name in Michael, I drove a friends argo 8x8 and really liked it. I came across this site and had to join. Yesterday I picked up a Terra Tiger, its in bad shape but Ive always wanted one of these machines. Ill see if I can figure out how to get some pictures up in the other AATV section.Last edited by Michaeljp86; 02-15-2012, 03:58 PM.U.S. COAST GUARD

well, I pick up a 1979 superchief 500, has a set of tracks and smaller tires, the exhaust is re-routed out the top right of the rear deck, covered with a expanded alum. cover. its not running yet, but is all complete. came with a windshield also. the best thing...the price! one bottle of beefeater gin! I will add pictures as soon as i can, looking foward to restoring and rippin!
