Hi guys, Carl here I just bought an old 8x8 argo off ebay in scotland I am exporting it to my place in Normandy France, I will be using it for general purpose work around the farm, I have some pretty wet land and my quad bike just doesn't cut the mustard when pulling a trailer full of timber.once I get time I was thinking of mounting a small sprayer and adapting a fertiliser spreader to use with it. I will post pictures when I get the beast home. I will be looking for info and servicing help... may even take it up to the beaches to reenact D day! :-)

Hello everyone. Another newbie. I'm from northern Wisconsin. I don't have an AATV yet. I hope to get one by spring/summer, just not sure which one to go with (will have to go used). I've been looking around the site and getting a lot of great information. Thanks for the great website!

Good day everyone, New to the Argo world and looking forward to the new adventures. Picked up a 04 avenger with about 225hrs, well keep machine but like them all will be needing some maintenance. I live in eastern Canada, New Brunswick to be exact and have visited the two closer Argo dealers and they both been very helpful. I'm changing the chain adjuster Teflon pads, or I should say working away at it. Not quite as easy as the operators manual implies but just a learn curve to get over. A few of the chains are very tight top and bottom, just wondering if a chain tensioning tool would work best to help get the master link out of the chain. Can't see any other way to get the tension off the chain to remove the tensioner pad. Any and all advise from the experienced argo folks would really help.
Thanks
Larry

Hi Larry, welcome to the site. Congratulations on your Argo. You should be able to rotate the tensioner to let the tension off of the chain. Then you can remove the master link and change the pad out. Check out the Argo manual on the home page of this site if you need some more info.

Hey guys, Every time I looked something up for my Argo I always seemed to end up here for my answer so I figured joining would be a good Idea. My name is Ray I live in Ontario I just recently purchased a 2000 Argo Conquest. This is the first Argo I've owned and I don't know anything about them really lol. I'm looking forward to checking the site out more thoroughly now that I'm a member and seeing what I can learn. I can tell you this, so far I'm having a blast with it. Thanks again for all your help up until this point.

Hello from Republic, Wa.
Always wanted to get an aatv.
Just picked up a Max ll that needed a lot of love.
The tub and body are great but that's where it ended.
Done a complete teardown and just finished painting the frame.
Starting to go back together today. New motor should be here in a few days.
The site has helped us so much with all the great articles. THANKS!
