  • Hi mogger, welcome to the forum. I would spray the entire inside of the machine down in WD-40 before tarping it. You aren't going to hurt anything by doing that. Spray the frame, chain, sprockets, transmission, motor, everything.

    • WD-40

Thank you Mike for the WD-40 spray down advice, my brother does that to his snow blower, very good, was not sure if that would hurt the plastic body or not, good to know all is Ok.

          • Azymut06, welcome to the forum. It's good to have you here. Have fun with your Buffalo in Panama.

Steve, welcome to the forum. It's good to have you here as well. Good luck in your search for a boat ramp mule. That's a good use for an AATV. If someone happens to drive off into the water, not only is it ok, it's fun.

            • Hello All, my name is Bill. I live in Michigan. I own a 2003 Argo Bigfoot which I use for deer and goose hunting and ice fishing out on the big lakes. Like many of you I have been in the most interesting of spots which ultimately has landed me in a few predicaments now and then. I am browsing your feeds and I really like how much information can be gotten from them. Right now I am going through the track section since I am in the market for a new set because the ones I have now even with cleats and winching off an ice auger is a two man job plus I tend to throw them now and then when you get into those swamp humps that we all love. Talk to you all soon :o)

                      • Hey everyone, just want to say hello. I am from McCullough Lake Ontario Canada. I have a 1992 Argo Vanguard, I just installed a set of 18" tracks on it to finish the maple syrup season here. I really enjoy the Argo and have parked the 4 wheeler since I got it last summer.
