      • Hey guys great to be here. Just got my 95 Max IV from akranger72 and was surfing the photos of showing off you Max and seen that it was Aktrails machine before that (kinda neat to have the history preserved on here). I can't wait to learn more about these incredible machines and akranger shared a wealth of knowledge already. Anyways I'm sure I will be scouring the threads and asking questions soon.

Great site and glad to be here,
        BADBRADII

          • Hello,
We live in the Yukon Territory Canada. Had an ARGO about 20 yrs ago and seriously thinking of buying a new Argo 6 wheeler. the local dealer 300 miles away, questioned me why I would want a 6 wheeler. Says he sells 25 8 wheel ayear and in 20 yrs has sold 3 x 6 wheel argos. said two were traded back in as too small.
We have a suzuki atv and my wife and I ride double so think a 6 wheel argo would be like a cadillac compared to the ATV.
We can ride right from our house. We spend as much time as we can fishing and hunting up here..
Look forward to reading comments on the forum..

              • Hello I have just bought a Sierra Trail Boss 6x6 and it is a bit of a mess.No Headlights,no Handrails, non genuine Engine, one bent front Axil and two Tyres missing.I have looked at others and they are a bit different, mine is made of Fiberglass not Plastic and the rear panel breather holes are round circles not long slots.I live in Australia and our Spare parts are limited so any advice would be apreciated.Thanks.

                • I suppose I ought to introduce myself really. Been in to 4x4 trials for most of my life but packed it in about 8 or 10 years ago, at nearly 60 it knocks me about now in a 360. Had quads for a while (in to shooting so useful) but now actively searching for an Argocat 8x8. I want something I can sit in not on.
This seems quite a knowledgeable site and friendly folk so you may have to put up with my thicko questions for quite a while.
Oh, I'm in the Black Country in the middle of the UK so may come up with terms you struggle with but I'll do my best to speak English.

Hi Robbie, welcome to the forum. Depending on what you plan on using the 6x6 for, how much gear you plan to carry, how much room you have on the trails you typically ride, a 6x6 may be better suited for you than an 8x8. I'm sure you will see some of the advantages/disadvantages to each after you look around the site for a while. Good luck with your purchase.

Hi wagnertravis, welcome to the site. Try a search for the trail boss material. I believe there are a couple of threads on that topic that should help you out.

Hi rodp. Your English is fine so far. There are several members from the UK here on the site so you may fit in better than you realize.

                      • Wife and I ride the atv with a tub trailer behind. We can load about 6 days of gear on the atv itself with us along. We are riding quite a bit above timberline. Some trails but not too confined..Salesman said with a 6 wheel we would always have to take a trailer. At 140 pounds rear payload on an argo 6 x 6 we should be good for all our gear..

                        Thanks
