Again, simple math.....now 163 recorded SN's of 21698 (highest recorded production SN)....just barely 0.75% of the production number....makes me wonder where the rest of the owners are? Most of us arrived at 6x6World.com because we had questions. ...do the others not wonder about other owners or have questions about their machines? Thanks again, Mike, for a great site!

Hipowerone I think there are a bunch of owners out there that bought a 6x6 not realizing the routine maintenance requirements. They aren't mechanically capable of fixing it themselves and get tired of paying for repairs/maintenance. The machine then just sits until it rots or it gets passed on to another incapable owner and the cycle continues. I wonder how many machines have been lost to fire, submersion, theft, etc. 4 wheelers and sxs's are far more popular so the interest in 6x6's is reduced. I saw a max IV on Craigslist yesterday and the seller didn't even call it what it is....he advertised it as a "duck hunting buggy".

Yeah, I saw that as well. And many times, if they are used only for hunting, they only get dragged out and used 1-2 times a year....as opposed to me wanting to ride mine every chance I get....retirement is great!

You never see Argo's or Max AATV's here in Utah except for a couple up in Logan Utah. I'd like to get together with someone that has one here in southern Utah but no one has one. There are lots of clubs and organizations that use 4 wheelers and side x sides here, infact I talked to an organizer of the clubs yesterday in Scipio Utah and he said I was one of a kind around these parts having a Max IV. I love mine but it wouldn't keep up with the faster 4 wheelers and many of the forest service trails have gates only for machines 50 inches or less which my Max is too wide. (Thanks to he Tree Huggers!) I also own a Polaris Trail Boss, a Yamaha Grizzly, a Honda Pioneer 500 (death trap) and a RZR 800, all of which are 50 inches or less. They couldn't go the places the Max would go.
