Howdy all, my first post here. I picked up a Max IV for a good deal on Monday and have been tinkering with it since. Was told it was a 1994, serial number 10682. It was sitting for a bit and am dealing with it not running very reliably, bad idle and won't start until a few tries. Replaced the gas, fuel filter and plug. Pulled out the carb cleaner and that helped a bit. Going to do a little 'Italian Tuneup" tomorrow, so we'll see how that works.
Question- I have a set of tracks for it, they have couple inch wide rubber pieces as crossmembers and then a piece of metal going across, are these ok to use in the summer and winter? The previous owner just used it in the winter.

Anyway, been reading a bunch and learning a ton. Thanks!
Located in Utah- I do have a roll cage with front and back windows with a fabric roof and doors in not the best shape for sale- $250

Welcome to the site, were always happy to have a new member. Your max will go through a lot with just the tires. It'd be best to just run tracks in the snow as it's a lot easier on the drive train. Also you might want to post your roll cage in the classified section.
