I thought about that but couldn't figure out how to set it up...

This looks much better if that is the case.
Yes, that's the first attempt. The floats can swing to the top. Not the most elegant solution and there will be problems. I'll see how the front float works when i get them, but for now this will have to do...

Can you post a video of your new float set up? Inquiring minds want to see your Mudd-Ox in the water with them on it.

The floats can be fitted closer to the body. I am just waiting on the tracks to arrive so I can set it in place and have a few more trials before i decide where they can go. In theory they can be swung above the ATV, but i will need some quick release bolts (no not usain..sorry that was a very bad joke). We just finished setting it up. I'll go fit the outboard so that i can test it on the back tomorrow morning...The other ATV is starting... just need to sort out the chains and we will be good to go..

Have you got those Mudd Ox issues resolved yet? I've been watching the videos of the diesel Mudd Ox machines, and I can't bring myself to say they are amphibious. Very capable off road machines yes, amphibious maybe not.
As such, I'm not really sure what modification would be required to make it amphibious. Pontoons diminish any off road capability and I wouldn't consider any of those as legitimate alternatives unless you spend 90% of your time on the water.
Has Matt come up with a solution for you yet? Please keep us all posted.
I can proudly announce that the contraption that we built works! The Ox is now more stable on water! However, it is noticeable wider and problems will abound whentrying to navigate through tight spaces. I'll put on the outboard in the morning and test it with the outboard on the back. Again if Matt comes through with my other kit and the front float, the ox should be stable with extra kit on. I will post photos tonight and then more photos in the morning and hopefully a video or two...

Yes, I've just had something built, picked it up this eve and will test it tomorrow, so hopefully it works. Matt has two front floats built but I need to arrange with him to have them and some outstanding items sent. But I will definitely keep you posted and hopefully load a few pics or two or a video..again if it works..
