my dad got the hubs axles and sprockets i needed to be reused cut down till i decide to change to a larger motor( maybe the kohlers 25hp and t-20)later down the road
axles photo(37).jpg almost done i did reuse the 3 bolt hubs because im going to reuse the stock wheels and tires for now.. this project was suppose to be on the cheap and i kept adding to it...
axle fitting, i did also extend the axles an inch more from the stock size so overall it 2inchs wider.. and yes i know you guys will hate me but i bed linered the bottom 1/2 after the abs repairs. IMG_1567.jpgIMG_1566.jpgIMG_1493.jpgIMG_1489.jpgIMG_1488.jpg
took this thing for its first ride last night rode for the longest ever 30min lol.. still gotta work on the brake system think im gonna convert over to a motor cycle brake system to have easier time controlling it, i already have 2 matching calipers just need to figure out 2 good master cylinders to setup and fit.
anyone have any suggestions on what to do so i can upgrade to 1 1/4 axles to seal water out? the last pics i posted are suppose to be the water seals but... theres no way to run an 1 1/4 axle thru them
Argo use a lip seal and bearing carrier for their older machines with 11/4"axles. Most dealers replace them and you can get them cheep. Replace the lip seals and you have nice upgrade.
