    max II rollbar

does anyone coming to ashtabula have a stock rollbar for a max II that they would be willing to part with for a nominal fee? apperance doesn't matter, but i do need all the hardware. looking for something we can install while were up there.

That's a bummer Kahn. I guess we'll have to try for Busco again.

If there is time for rookies and and ex racers to do some laps after the race that may create some more interest in racing . If the liability issue can be released by a waiver I would be all for it. i will be also traveling with my Blackbird, 4 stroke Attex and maybe my bigfoot. I may also run or have the Attex available to run in the 4 stroke class. Maybe Bud Has some Ideas on the waiver.
JFB, Which way are you heading... The Turn Pike, or Rt. 80? You said you were going to get there on Thursday, so am I. Would you like to meet somewhere and travel together? Anyone else heading out on Thursday?

If any one would like to try the Scrambler, and they can get the liability issue resolved... Everyone is welcome to.

I'm in full agreement with you JBF... I hope to have three machines there (pickup truck! Fiiiiinally!) and I certainly wouldn't mind letting someone take a machine out for an attempted meltdown JP-Swift style. While the machines are overall pretty safe to operate, it's important to treat them with a lot of respect. A twitchy move at 45mph in a 450 pound machine will send you out into the rhubarb right-quick. If the four stroke doesn't make it on the truck, then the 'ol D/stock will be taking its' place following a carb swap. While we've already spurred a lot of interest in the higher-performance realm the last couple years, it'd be great to get an even larger dose of adrenaline into the system and keep the ball rolling.

I'll be heading down I-90 early on Friday morning with Alyssa, Dad and the racers. I can manipulate my schedule to meet up with anybody who wants to meet up. There's a nice rest area just inside PA past Stateline that might work well.

We'll be putting the finishing touches on JP's and my racer this weekend, so he and I 'll probably be making some sort of plans to rendezvous.

    ~mike
