    You're good, Roger.

But actually, it was only one trip to Harbor Freight. True one stop shopping.

Saw Lewis's tires & had to explore my options. While he drifts right or left, I should be able to drift right past him.

Very funny, I shall not comment!
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"

While most of the hardware is as ready as it's going to be for race day, I decided to try to clean the machines up at least a little bit before they get run into, smashed, rolled and/or set ablaze at some point over the weekend. The acetone rub down on the ABS bodies works well, and a little rubbing compound and wax on the old girls really goes a long way.
So much so, that a purdy li'l bug stopped by to give me a pat on the back. No, it wasn't JP....

Thought it looked quite a bit like the sticker on Bridget's skid plate. Sorry little dude; no nectar in there. Just 91 octane and synthetic oil....

              Awwwwww

If I remember right, they only see in ultraviolet, which means the 503 was the right color. I'm surprised it stuck around long enough for you to get the pics. I'd like to say it was one of my spies, but I can't.

My guess is that it was probably looking at it's reflection in the shinny yellow ABS plastic.

Hey East Coast. Been watching the weather reports, but it's hard to get a feel for what the weather has been like in your neck of the woods. (Dry, rainy, humid beyond belief bad hair day?) We'll be loading the trailer this weekend & we're looking at 110+ degrees. I know, I know, it's a dry heat.

It was only in the 80s on the Island today but a bit humid. Not a bad day for the Fifth Grade Field Day. :-)

I planned on wearing a Nomex jumpsuit in the races and I bought one for George too but now I'm worried it'll hot enough to cook us on the inside.

OK, this battery is bigger than your little one,.....but smaller than your big one! I think i said that right.. No side mounted bracket...saving weight. Got to keep up with you rocket sleders.

                      • It's Sunday, June 6th. We are leaving North Carolina in 11 days heading to Ashtabula! After the fun of riding yesterday, the excitement level in our house just jumped up! My new toy ran great and I can't wait to get to Ohio and ride some more with ya'll!
See you in 11 days (and counting)!

                        • i knew that ride yesterday would raise the enthusiasm level a notch. Are you planning to race the new machine or the Attex this year? New machine looks great!

There is no registration required for any AATV.

                              • Hi Jeff, it's good to see another attendee! You and your family will have a blast. You do not need any registration for your six wheeler. I'm not sure on kids whether or not they are free this year. Worst case would be $35 for the whole weekend for your son as a spectator. I would plan to pay that and then if he gets in free then that's even better.
