I got 5 more lbs off the Spider today. I got rid of the 6 1/2Lb clutch guard and replaced it with a
1 1/2lb aluminum one. I need to loose some more if I wanna keep up with the SR-71 on the straights.
Well, I got 12 more pounds off the Spider today. I got my new battery. It weighs 8 ounces & has 325 cranking amps. Bridget & I are calling it , the Pocket Battery. I don't even have to mount it, it's so light. It can just hang from the cables.

Whipper
That's just wrong!
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"
Last year at, Pine Lake I had all kinds of mechanical problems and engine problems. This year I'm gonging to use the Attex rolling chasse I bought from, George and my 400 JLO. After about a week of messing with the 400; I finally got the problem figured out that plagued me last year. Turns out that the carb has a very small crack in the housing. It would run, but once it got hot, it would start sucking air. Got another Carb and know it's running great.... KNOCK ON WOOD!!!!!
Just need to fab roll bars, chain guards, clutch guard and clean it up.
