I hope next year there are better "suggestions" as to who can run in what class... I would have signed up again for rookie with some of the returning "rookies" from last year or stock if I had know there would be other liquid cooled stockers running. I can't really complain though because we were late and still diligently working on dad's machine while those races were happening and I got to finally race against dad for the first time in 16 years. That along w/ getting my first stick time in his/Uncle Dave's springer that I've wanted to try since I was 7 made this year better than last year. I'm a little bummed that there doesn't seem to be as much video/photo evidence as last year but, better to be racing than taking pictures!

      Thanks Joe!
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"

We really didn't anticipate a Rookie class again this year, but enough first timers showed up that wanted to race to warrant a Rookie class again. All in all, we had some really exciting classes.
I got to race with Whipper my first time ever, too. That was a thrill. An even bigger thrill was on Saturday, when we were allowed to finally go on the track. I got out on a DRY track with Whipper, George & Jerseybigfoot. I now know what the SS can do on a dry track, finally.
There are lots of pics & videos that will be coming. LOTS. So hang in there. More good stuff will be coming.

            Bridget

Of course it would help if we show up early = on time (for once) to figure that stuff out as well. Much appreciation for everything you all did to put it together!

Whew! I think this is all the pics I have. I don't have any shots of the BIG final race. I was videoing for George. I hope the videos come out!
These shots are shots of racers on the track. Not sure of alot of the names, it's just good racing!
