You all are so right, the best bunch of people I have ever been involved with. SALUTE!
My wife's aunt and uncle came to the races this year. They could not believe everyone jumping in to help get my racer sorted after I lost a wheel in a roll over. Her aunt asked if everyone lending a hand was not racing in the same class as me. She was shocked when I told her that they were all my friends and competitors helping to get me back on the track. Lets just say their first experience with sport and our members was amazing. MaxIVMark even took them both for a ride and they gloated that it was better than going to cedar point.
Im currently finishing up a DVD of our racing footage from the weekend, I've got 2 videos. One is 25 minutes long with full race video and some pits stuff, and the other is a short 8 minute video of highlights with music, it should be up on youtube later tonight
Here is a vid of the over 50 race where i came in 5th. some good rubbing with Don and some other old guys. I almost didn't race at all but was fortunate George to loan me a belt when mine tore up after 4 practice laps. Lots of thanks to LittleG, Matt O,Lewis, Don, George and others in trying to find me a belt. Georges belt was a bit narrow and al little bit short but worked pretty well. Next year we will have the springer finished so it can be a reunion of the last of the old school Springers.
Have some footage yet to get worked up. Had a great time!
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"

That's what I'm talking about. Good "ol" people!!! I'm glad that your family could experience our hobby and all the members and friendships abroad associated with. I bet the ride in MaxIVMark's machine was the "icing on the cake"!!
