Busco Beach in NC October 7-9, 2011

It looks like this lines up with one of the only free weekends I have, so put me down on the list. Not looking forward to driving down by myself, so if anyone else wants to ride together let me know. I have a quad cab diesel dually I was going to drive down and have room for people, gear and machines......let me know if your interested.

Hi Everyone!
For those of you that were at Busco in April through the torrential downpour and the tornadoes...just a little update. On that Saturday, a tornado struck a Lowe's in Sanford, NC about 90 miles from Busco. Fortunately for the 100 or so folks in the store, the manager and employees were quick-thinking, implemented their tornado plan and no one was injured. The store, however, was almost flattened. President Obama called the store manager to congratulate him and his employees for keeping their cool and taking care of the customers. This past week the store had it's re-opening. It could have been a much worse tragedy and most of the employees as the store have been able to return to work! Yay! So, as we prepare machines, camping gear and grocery lists, let's be thankful!

It's a long weekend so I think I'll try and make it down......this is always a fun ride and it's really great to see everyone at least a couple times each year.

Noooo! That sucks. Busco isn't the same without at least one Kinyon there. You've got your license. Just hook up the trailer and slip out late Thursday night.
