The 6x6 and 8x8 AATV community is one of the tightest knit group of folks that I've ever met......they're some of the best friends that I've ever had. They'll do anything for you and when something goes wrong there's always an army of people there to help you out. I can't even begin to express the gratitude to everyone for all that they've done for me over the years. Hopefully you can join us sometime in the near future.

Yeah...only 3 years ago but seems like a lifetime.
The event's a little bigger now.

Woah, that brought back some memories. I had forgotten what my Max II originally looked like. The funny part is that a lot of the fun seen in that video was just in the parking lot.

I will have my phone at all times, and the # is 704-902-3734. If a group gets lost, I can probably talk you back to camp with an accurate descreption of what you can see, and the texture/ smell of the mud. If I don't tear everything we own up Thursday night, I plan to hit the trails Friday morning as early as possible, and stay out till the machines quit, or I need coffee/ beer/ food. It has been a tumultuous few weeks around here and I need to blow off some steam
I will be a group leader for SOME of the weekend, but I would like to spend some time at the back of the pack so I can see the antics that go on... I'm still bummed that I missed Hydromikes thrilling "Hustler pole vault to breast stroke dismount" at porkslap

Lets establish some group leaders and com equipment. Either cell phones or radio. Good Idea Race on smaller groups. I think we should organize the rides at least with some approx times. I always felt bad when somebody came for a day and the social hour turned in two or three and they had little riding time. Something simple like.
AM ride.
Repair session /BS session
Lunch
afternoon ride.
Repair session/ BS session
Late afternoon Ride
Broken machine retrieval
Dinner
Night ride
Late night ride.
Early AM machine retrieval
Breakfast.
We can negotiate the time .
We can also have some groups for the drag strip, dunes, lake and Mikes Action Antics.

as much as I want to ride with everyone, I'm thinking we are going to need to split into some smaller groups throughout the weekend. It's so hard to keep up with a group of 30 machines and make sure no one gets left behind!

I think you're right on the money 'Bass. Organizing a full group ride may be a difficult task this time around. I think that Friday and Saturday promise to be days full of AATVs just about everywhere you look. Columbus day weekend was crazy-busy at Busco last year, so I imagine that this year will be a repeat.

Kittanning,Pa is aprox 3 hr ride from Cleveland. This is not an unreasonable distance to travel to ride, actually from my experience,it's about average as there is virtually nowhere (unless these areas just very well hidden) to ride locally without ,at least, minimal hassles to worse. I also have no qualms of primitive camping to extend stays. If You know of some nice, legal areas we should certainly try to put,at least, one ride togather and see how that fares. There are quite a few members around the Pittsburg area also. Busco Beach,in my opinion,is the absolute BEST event as far as GREAT folks and riding but 1200+ mile round trip, pulling trailer through mountains and getting 2-3 days off work to make it worthwhile is,unfortunatly, not too "cost effective" for a blue collar in the midwest of the U S of A these days, lol.

Man, that sucks.Originally posted by George View PostSadly, I need to sit this one out.
Send some back with Jersey....He's already bringing other things back for me.

I hope to do it again but I had to rip apart my Max IV at the last minute and will probably be up late Thursday finishing it so I may not get time to set everything up. I will do my best.Originally posted by Stonewall View PostAre y'all planing on doing the live streaming thing again? That was really cool to watch at the spring ride!
