Great Mike, hate that it had to end. That was a very funny ending
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"

The camera I am using is a point and shoot still camera. It is a Panasonic Lumix. It was one of the first HD waterproof cameras to come out a couple of years ago that had a zoom on it but it really was made for taking still shots and not video. I don't like several things about it, mainly the zoom. It is very loud and it distorts the sound every time I use it. It is also difficult to control the zoom because it continues zooming for a fraction of a second after you release your finger. I wouldn't recommend it to anybody for shooting video. The only reason I continue to use it is that I can slip it into my front pocket and get to it very quickly. I've tried a couple of other cameras and while I like the features of them much better, I have to carry them in a bag and I have almost ruined them with the dirt and mud.
Thanks for the comments.

Help! I want to know how you guys get by the U-Tube music police. Wildtexasranger had some great videos, too, set to music & they seemed to have been O.K. We get so tired of making a video & getting the audio disabled on U-Tube, because of the music, so we gave up & usually post our videos set to music on Vimeo for that reason. We know the artist(s) has something to do with it, but we actually had U-Tube contact us when we used the William Tell Overture in Rescuing the Model Citizen & for music that was coming over our radio in our 400 Miler Sandrail trip.

At the time you were having trouble with music on your videos, Youtube was fighting with the big music companies. There were only one or two that allowed their artist's music to be used. Now Youtube has come to an agreement with most of the larger music companies. Youtube has software that screens every video to see if it matches registered / copyrighted songs and if it does then, based on the music company's preferences, they will either ban the video or allow ads to be shown on the video. If the music company allows ads to be shown, they and Youtube split the profit based on their contract.
Most of the industry now allows their songs to remain on videos and just takes a portion of the profit from the advertisements. Some will only ban the videos in certain countries based on the song too but usually that's not in the US. For instance, the video I just posted is banned from Russia for some reason because of copyright infringement.

When I go to add a song to a video, I still will search youtube for that song and make sure other people have used it. Most songs have videos on youtube that show the lyrics. If you see that, you should be able to use the song. I haven't had one rejected in a while but it's better to save a little time up front then to put a bunch of time in and get the video rejected.
