I didn't choose these definitions. They were the first four to come up on a Google search. I guess I could have continued down the line but the consensus appears to be that "Propaganda" is used to deceive.

Your definition was the 2nd in the search. You omitted "to harm" in the definition you chose to present for the word "Propaganda". In doing so you not only used a method this word defines, you also employed a dash of Irony.

You choose your definition I'll choose mine I guess. I see definitions as possible uses of a word. I chose to present mine. The Axis is a nice reference but modern propaganda is on the news every night in our own country and far less sinister by my standards. My point was we are all on a site that by definition is bias.

We have a simple mission statement that has brought us from our inception in 2007 to where we are today: 6x6 World is dedicated to promoting the Amphibious ATV hobby in a positive and family friendly way. So come on in and join us for some mud bogging, lake cruising, hill climbing, snow drifting, skid steering fun!

Maybe check out this thread to see what happens if you deviate from the chosen path.

In reality Dan you will be the first to test the wider Vendettas. With everything frozen here all I can do is ride and slide around. I am thinking in your area you will be able to find some water and mud and that is going to be what everyone is interested in that looks at the widest AATV tire, the 26x16x12 Vendetta. I sure hope you can grab somebody to take videos of you because I am thinking the water speed will be incredible and I think you are in an area with the sticky sort of mud that so many people seem concerned about. Look forward to hearing your impresessions especially since you have owned and tested so many other tires.

thanks for all the great photos You deserved the first set after a five hour drive ours will take two weeks to get here. It was my plan just to stir the pot a little because I knew they were coming and we were part of the reason for the first production run and you wanted a set as much as we do. thanks for the taking the bait. all in good fun

Cant wait to see how they look on your machine Keith. Do you have the bearing cage support rail for the track kit? If so, will you have to remove it for the tires?

Hey Mark, I run 4" extensions with the 18.5" wide Adair tracks. When I bolted the 16" wide Vendettas on they touched the support bar. I removed the support bar and all the pictures are with 4" extensions. You will need to run at least 2" extensions to clear the body with the 16" wides and if you want to run with the support bar will need to use 5" wheel extensions. I took a bunch of pictures as I removed the tracks so you could sort of get a feel for how big the tires are compared to my 18.5 Adair mud and snow tracks.

16" wide tires on a 10" wide wheel seems a little bit odd to me.....Did Matt find a source for wider wheels? Or... how do they look mounted up (like old balloon tires)?

Jim, I kind of thought the same thing and questioned Matt about this very thing. I also thought about other aplications with the same kind of difference. My Bronco with 44" TSLs has 18.5" wide tires on 12" wide rims. I also took a picture of the chevrons on the Blackbird. Here are a couple pictures trying to show the sidwall protrusion.

The sidewall seems to bulge around the tire nicely giving very good rim protection and at 3PSI the top profile is very square and flat. I am thinking it will also be much harder to debead this combination. It is also very bouncy when you drive it like old ballon tires. After 3 hrs of running around this afternoon it works really well in the snow at least.

In talking with Matt the 16" wide Vendettas were never really intended to be a "production tire". Matt just spent extra money to have the mold made with interchangeable centers so he could manufacture a 12" and 14" wide Vendetta. When I talked to him about the mold design I asked him how wide Hoosier could make the Vendetta with a larger insert. After a couple months the 16 is as wide as they can support during the curing process and Matt figured he would just spend the money to have a few made for himself. Well so many people expressed interest that Matt had a production run set and it will now be an optional tire for the Mudd-Ox and available to us the general consumer. It should definatly be king of the dedicated amphibious tires.

We are living in the pinnacle time of the AATV world. With all of the different choices in tires, tracks, and accessories. Sure there were a lot more choices of machines in the 1960s and 70s, but the machines that we have now are built to last and can go more places with more gear/people. Just a thought.

They look awesome. Should be the floatation that our amphibs need. As my old friend Fred Sowerwine would say, it's all about PSI on the ground!

Wish we could get someone with a set of these to attend the Mud Nationals in three weeks. I guess I'll have to show the quads how it's done with my skinny little antique 26x12 Terra Grips.
