Check this out !! 8x8 with twin remote controlled trolling motors. All he needs now is power jack plate. So he can raise and lower them from drivers seat. Exspensive but COOL !!

somebody somewhere sells a pre-made thruster set up for an argo. If your machine has a decent sized battery and a high-output alternator, you could probably get away without having to carry extra deep cycles for the thrusters too. Unless you wanted to motor along with your engine stopped.

        Remote mount the pump?

Running a right angle drive off the motor or chains for the pump would be a pain in the butt. What if you run the impeller as near to the motor as possible (off the transmission maybe) and then run the "outlet" side of the impeller back to the rear of the argo, and make it directional? I think it would have a better chance of working, but you would have power losses for sure... I dont know how significant they would be though. But it is an idea.

I have found a jet drive that push 340lbs with a 20 hp engine on it, my 10 hp outboard have a trust around 250 so there is a better thrust...
But I have found this video. Somebody have do this before!
It's fast and good mooving! Look only the first 3 minutes.

If I am not mistaken that is Coop driving his mystery 6x6. I believe there are 2 other similar machines that we found like his. The Berkley jet drive used in his machine was a factory option on several other aatv's as well. Some other machines with a jet drive include the sperry rand wedge and some older hustler's.

How about slapping on two, 2 stroke outboard motors.

There are a couple of members who have utilized pumps. Did you check out Chris' 8x8 with a Seadoo pump? http://www.6x6world.com/forums/other...-doo-pump.html

Some body know how take out a second power shaft from the kholer aegis 26 hp? I need it to move the jet drive. I have found that is possble from the flywheel part of the shaft... isn't it?

                      Thanks

Hi buddy! You will have to use a "right angle gear drive" and get a coupler to the fly wheel on the side of the engine. I just don't know if you have the clearence betwene the side of the argo tub and the side of the engine.

                          Hi!
Nice! this is my idea! in the kohler aegis lh 690 engine there is a spacer between the flywheel and the fan pulley. I want to made a pulley with the same dimensions of the spacer and take the power from it! but my answer is if is good for the crankshaft to have a load in this side... I think there aren't problems because the jetdrive load have a gradual peak... And the move a pulley with an Electro Mechanical Clutch (command by a switch), than an 90° angle coulple gear and then a cardon right to the rear...
