  • hi community...

i hope that i´m not alone here from Europe, Austria. (20miles from vienna)
Since 2 days i´m a proud owner of a 1999 Argo Bigfoot with just 190 Hours of operating time...
yesterday at night with 1 foot of snow it was amazing to drive....
this is my first 6x6 and of course i have a lot of questions left...
maybe some guy her have some "time" to give instructions....

i´m looking for a 1999 bigfoot manual so i can operate it securly and maintain it right...
some handles are unknow for me and i don´t want to damage it..
maybe somebody have something or know where i can download it.....

what i need to do first?
    pics will follow...

    thx for answers sooon...

    i happy owner from Austria

    • Hi everyone,

Just purchased a 2010 Argo Frontier 580 and finally sold the 4wheeeler today! At least I can recoup a little of the cost lol. New to the sport but in the few times I have been able to get out, the 6wheeler is incredible. Great forum here, love the advice. Can't wait for the lakes to lock up and put the tracks on.....should never get stuck and it's going to be soooo easy to pull out the gear.

        • Hi everybody. My name's Paul and I just got a new KID 8x8 and just wait till you see some pics. It is super sharp. I live in SE Indiana on a few acres with lots of grades you can barely walk up and a huge creek. Should be fun...too bad it's so frickin cold. It going to snow a bunch tonight, good thing the Kid has a plow. See I told the wife it's a tool not a toy. Other toys I mean tools are a Cushman Titan 48V, Kubota L3130 TLB, Electraglide, Jeep, Yamaha golf cart, Country Clipper ZTR hope I didn't leave any body out. Anyhow I've been reading alot of the posts for awhile and there sure are a lot of knowledgeable folks on here sharing their time and brains ab!nd stories--it's great. So now that I've got an AATV I'm in the club!

Mike and Friends from 6x6 world I`m sure pleased to be accepted into a Allterrain group have been going crazy trying to get my 74 6x6 Prairie Bobcat going it`s a metal one found it in a steel pile rusting I did a full restore on it and now I just need a coil & a wiring harness for it , every day I watch all of you having fun with yours some of you are nuttier the circus POOP gives me goosepimples , But I`m sure I`ll get that way too, However in 2000 I had a rollover on a wash out beside a creek & trashed a knee so I slowed down quite a bit but for forty years I had a dirtbike or sled was`nt till 2000 I invested in a Suzuki Quadmaster 500 4x4 ; I live in Alberta Canada just north of Edmonton & have some of the best fishing holes around if there`s a place to upload photos I`d like to share a few with you all Thanks again !!!

              • Hey Garnett, welcome to the site. It's good to have you here. We have a gallery that you can upload all the photos you want to. Just click on Gallery at the top of the page. There is a link there that tells you how to upload photos if you have trouble. I look forward to seeing your restored Bobcat. You don't see too many of those.

                  • Hi throttle junkie, welcome to the site! It sounds like you have a decent starting point for your Amphicat. Be sure to post some pictures of it as you complete it.

                    • Hey all thanks for a great forum! I joined after reaching my trolling limit lol My boss's uncle died a few years back and his "home modified"(home made body and various other alterations) MAX sat for years. Boss asked me if I wanted it as a project and I said yes and found your forums! Now I'm waiting on it to be delivered so I can survey how much work is needed. Thanks again for a great forum!

                      • Hello everone.

Just found this site. I'm in central Florida and curious if Amfib ATV's may be able to fill a niche in the places I'd like to explore. I actually have airboats so many places are accessible, but you can never have too many toys, so here I am.

I know that I'll have a lot of questions and thank you in advance for sharing what you can.

                        • Hi Mike and the Group... I am retired out here in Eastern New Mexico. Am a member on the HAMB network with traditional hot rods and am building a street rod. Looking forward to learning and sharing info on these neat ATVs.. Was given a 4 seater MAX ATV a few months back, and still awaiting time to be able to get it running again. It has 82 hours on the hour meter, but wasn't cared for, very well... Happy Holidays to all.... duane ( NM Sandrail) Fort Sumner, NM
