Yah, I'd love to see how you did that. Other than the T20, couldn't the additional parts be fabbed?

      • I already have those parts. They are just two 1 1/8" #50 chain sprockett and four #40 1 1/8" chain sprockett to convert it. I do agree that his prices are really high and he says they are not. However I've never purchased anything from him. so I don't know about his customer service.

        • Hey everyone Dont have a whole machine yet. Just missed out on a 70's Amphicat at the scrap yard. I did use this site to do my research but hesitated and lost. I did however run across a emty hull for a Jiger in the process. I live in Ontario canada and found out a bit about the history of the Jigger and that they were built verry close to where I grew up. I have attached a photo of the hull (never been drilled) and hoe someone can help me identify it. I am also hoing to find a cheap project machine(s) that I can work on over the winter.

          • Hi this is Jensen from Denmark,
Just traded my old HD WLC for a Max IV and loving it, I mainly use it for hunting trips in Sweden. I already own a Terra Tiger with an B&S 18hp installed. Looking for tip or tricks on how to install a reverse in the Tiger. (restoring it for my kid)

            Have fun and stay safe

            • Welcome Phil and Packer,

              Phil,

keep an eye out and you will find a nice project. There are a lot of members up there in canada that can probably help you out, but a trip to the states may be your best bet to get a t-20 based machine like an Attex or Max. There are great project machines due to the bullet proof tranny and simplistic designs.

              Packer,

Buggyman put a reverse on a terra tiger using a starter so he could back it out of the garage. Do a search on the site for terra tiger reverse and just about every thread will have a video of him backing it up. I doubt it will be enough power to back out of the sloppy stuff, but it will get you out of the garage just fine.
l like to buy stuff and no I don't do payments!

                • thanksdrew I will keep looking and expand my search into the States. I have added photos og my Jiger hull. I was hoping to make a trailer out of it for the kids and was thinking of droping a jet drive into it to push my other machine (when I find it)

Before you make the Jiger into a trailer, you might want to preserve it for it's historical value and sell it to a collector. Contact the gentleman who runs the Jiger site and he might be able to work something out with you.
