  • Hi guys, my name is Dave, but my business partner is a guy called Terry who was the designed and original manufacturer of the Roamobile in the States a long time ago hence our username on here of RoamobileCreator. He still has some of the tooling for the product and is looking to find someone interested in taking it off his hands!

He has just rebuilt one of his original models here in the UK as he has found someone who is interested in the product, but we both realise that the US is the natural market for the product!

I have just registered the domain name www.roamobile.com and we are looking to post some of his original film of the Raomobile on there once we get iy converted from film to dvd format! Will post once we have added anything on there! I'm also going to go through his stock of marketing material and see what else we can post which might be of interest to anyone who has one!

    All the best

    • Welcome roammobilecreator. There are several members here that have one, and I am personally on the look out for one at a good price. Its always nice when we attract people with deep roots in the hobby.
l like to buy stuff and no I don't do payments!

      • You never know they could be back in production shortly as we have the tooling and the expertise to start up again, but as he's approaching 80, he is not interested in a long term project and would prefer to sell on the product to a younger man/company who could devote more time and energy to the project!

So rather than buy one, you could buy the company :-)

                • Hello 6x6ers:
Just purchased my first 6x6 and am impressed with the machine. I want to learn from you experienced owners and am looking forward to hearing from you about your equipment. I will usually be exploring a creek bed and river near my home. I am interested in hearing about accessories that you find functional and good additions to the standard equipment. Looking forward to hearing from all of you! Wilburjohn

What kind of machine did you do the motor swap in? It'll certainly make a world of difference by adding that many ponies to your machine. Welcome to the site!

Lets not be stingy with the pics,,, we all want to see your machine. I just swapped my 16hp v-twin with a 23hp Kohler and a red spring on the T-20, got all the bugs out,, and it is a night and day difference all around except weight. Great acceleration, rpms, torque and just pure power. We look forward the see it and reading your satisfaction on the site after your first test ride!!
