    • Sounds like you have a Big Max. I personally would stick with a JLO and keep the machine original, but if you can fit the Rotax in without hacking up the Max, that would work. Welcome to the site! You'll find a Max with a 440 is a VERY fast AATV. And remember, NEVER EVER deal with Richard Clark/Route6x6 for parts. You can get the parts directly through Recreatives. New to the board and to the technology. Purchased an 01? response around the beginning of November. I've enjoyed reading the forums and the help they have already provided. I know that this board will help me to learn more about my machine and how to keep it rolling.

          Thanks to all

            • Hello everyone. New to this site. I just picked up my first Argo and I am geeked. So I wanted to ask some questions and see if someone can help me. I have a tire that should be replaced. I have been considering puting a tube in it. Its a Carlisle 22X11X8. I cant find them on the internet anywhere. Any body have any idea where I can buy one? Also have any of you got experiance with changing the front chains out? I had a shaft up front come apart, and am trying to figure out how to get this thing put back together and get it back out side ASAP for some ice fishing! Thanks. I have a late 80's model Argo 8x8.

Richard Clark took over Route6x6 from the creator, Jeff Bodean. He also runs "Richard's Relics." Richard Clark is someone who simply put, burns new people to the hobby so he can simply line his pockets with more and more money. He sells inferior quality parts, he sells machines that are supposedly rebuilt, or stated to have rebuilt components, but they aren't actually, or they're just cobbed together, his customer service is horrible, he jacks up prices ridiculously high on items you can get directly from the manufacturer, he charges crazy high shipping and "handling" charges, and on and on and on. All the horror stories about him are true, so just avoid him and tell anyone that is new to the hobby the same thing so everyone can also avoid him and not be burned by his poor business practices.

You're probably one of the few that have had good luck with him. And if you haven't heard any horror stories (which are completely true) about Richard's Relics, then you haven't spent much time in the 6x6 community or here on the site.

Anyway, here's some information on the T-20 adjustment. Also, try using the "search" function at the top right corner of the screen. The Superchief is a great machine......it's actually the fastest production AATV out there. Good luck with it and welcome to the site.

When you say the 1 side won't keep up with the other, It sounds like it's pulling to 1 side on you. That is not a
transmission issue it's a tire diameter issue. I would check the pressures and measure the circumference of all your tires..
