    LarryW, thanks for the feedback.

I was not even considering the possibility of fixing up my brothers Chaparral, even though that should have been my first thought looking back. I was not even considering fixing it, that is, until Lewis made that statement that I at first thought was a joke. After chuckling about it for a moment, I got to thinking that that is not a bad idea, as I knew it was not in that bad of shape and I knew my brother would not mind at all.

Thanks, LarryW and Lewis, for your idea and encouragement. I just talked to my brother, and he is all excited that I want to fix it back up to use . . . plus, then he will be able to use it, as well.

    Sounds like a plan.

      • Young at heart

        Hello all .
I just got my first quad in July and now I will getting 6x6 this week . I have no idea what I am in for. I live in Acme Pa , there are a lot of trails here. I can drive a bobcat so I hope that will help me. I will let you know how my first ride goes. Thanks to Tory G , for opening a whole new world to me at the young age of 52. After retiring from the Air Force and moving back home here where it all started as a child . At least I have 26 acres to practice on. Wish me !!!!!!!!

        • Great to have you, and let me say "Thanks" for all you have done for this Country.

Now, this is a great place to talk AATV. You will love it. Need to post up some pictures and start coming to rides.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"

Just got done watching the Qearz episode with Stacy David and his Sur-Trek. I had a Sierra Trail Boss from 1980 to 1982 when i sold it for college money. I didn't realize how much I missed this type of fun till I saw this show. I will be looking for an older 6x6 and until then I'll live vicariously through the adventures you guys are having
