    • The dog is blue heeler x kelpi, good at keeping cattle in order when we have to work them. The back gets a work out while replacing bearing. Sorry not a member of any manufacturing forums.

      • Hello. I've been a 4 wheeler and dirt bike rider for about 18 years. Last fall I purchased a Hydratrek. I've been looking at this site for 2 months now and have not seen any posts about one of these ATVs. I bought it direct from the manufacturing plant in Covington, TN. It's a very tough machine. It is made from military grade aluminum and drives via hydraulics. They make 6x6s and 8x8s with and without tracks. They have a website and several videos on Youtube if you are curious as to what it looks like. I look forward to your comments.

and welcome. Here is a search link for threads on your machine. I think you are the first Hydratrek owner on this site. Please enlighten us with pictures of your machine and tell us what you think about it by posting in one of the threads.

                • I am new to 6x6 - purchased a 1994 Max II last year - it has been retrofitted with an 18 hp Vanguard and came with a second 16 hp Vanguard. It is in reasonable shape, has new muffler, manifold, prinmary and secondary drive cluthches chains and bearings. It has a small 1500 lb winch on the front, all weather cover with roll bar, the older type rubber tracks with the steel cleats, plastice tracks for 4 wheels, wheel extensions and a stock windshield. My wife and i live in nothern Ontario near Timmins and we own a cottage on Horwood Lake - an excellent walleye lake. We plan to use the 6x6 to access the cottage during the winter, we can drive there the other 3 seasons. My wife does not like getting cold on a snowmobile so travelling to the cottage in our Max II appears perfect. My wife loves to grouse and moose hunt, has her own ATV and is a good looker so I can't complain LOL. I am presently working on my Max and everything seems straight forward other than the wiring. I did not get an owner's manual with it and the wiring has been recently replaced. I am not great when it comes to electrical so I am having some problems. Would anyone have a simplified wiring diagram for my 1994 Max 11 with the Vanguard engine. I have searched everywhere and it seems to be a best kept secret. I have checked a lot of different sites and 6x6 is by far the best. I am happy to have become a member and I hope that I get to meet a few people with similar machines. Can't wait to pull a moose out this fall. Our Lab will also enjoy the ride when she is retreiving ruffed grouse for us.

                            • Hello to all

Hello my name is reggie, i have been riding motorcycles and atv from the time i could walk. My 2 uncles have attex's. I got a 1969 scrambler 7 years ago, for free that sat for 12 years in the woods on its side. Tore the whole thing apart down to the body. Rebuilt the trans. Axels, all bearings and seals, installed a briggs 16 hp vanguard v-twinn, due to it not having reverse, i added a polaris gear case, that gave me f-n-r. Im still working on the scrambler. Hope to have it all done by summer. Also i have been a motorcycle and atv technician for 14 years, currently im at a polaris dealership. I am in need of a scrambler front seat and floor, if anyone can help. Looking forward to talking to you all. Thanks reggie

                              • Reggie, that sounds like a unique project. Post up some pictures of your gearbox setup if you get a chance.
