  • Hi MichMadMax, welcome to the site. You can call the factory (Amphibious Six-Wheel Drive All-Terrain Vehicles: MaxATVs - Call 1-800-255-2511) and they can tell you what year your Max is exactly but if you will search the site several serial numbers and years have been posted that can help you narrow it down. This thread will get you started: http://www.6x6world.com/forums/max-a...al-number.html

Depends on what you want to do really. Just saying hi or some people go into more detail about them selves, on how they found the site, the aatv they own or maybe just looking at purchasing an aatv.

                    Welcome to the site!

                      • Hello, I am Erin and I an New to your site. I currently have a MaxII mechanically ok, cosmetically needs a new top and seat. I am a firm beliver that when you get something new you clean it to the bone and see what makes it tick and what needs to be done. looking forward to this project. I started with a 69' Attex ST400R that needed a bit more work than I could handle. Though my talking's with members and friends I was a bit upside down for what I had invested. I also have a Yamaha BW200 I rebuilt from the ground up. looking to sell.

                        • Hi Erin, welcome to the site. By tearing your Max apart and rebuilding it you should have a machine that will be very reliable and if anything ever does fail, you will know how to replace it without thinking twice. Good luck with your rebuild.

                              • Good everybody I am new. I do have a lot of guestons about argo and I hope you can show me the ropes. Right now I have an old tucker snow cat 323, I think it,s about the only one made. But now I would like to go to something a little smaller and lighter. I do not think I can expect the same performance out of a argo because they are so low to the ground. We live on the west coast of B.C. and get about 15Ft of snow in our cabin area ... I look forward to chatting with you.
