Welcome to the site! Congrats on your first 8x8! I would suggest posting something in the local area members section if your looking for someone to ride with. I think you would get better results. Heres the link for you.

I dont know the exact years but they where one of the originals right around the same time Jiger was invented. I have seen paper work on the net saying before the Jiger even. Im not sure but most people say the Jiger was the first atv ever produced. Not sure when they went under either. But if you posted a picture of your driveline I can tell you if its the early style on of the later styles. First ones had a single speed FNR square gearbox made by ODG aka argo. Ron Beehoo I believe was the guy who created them. There is a brochure section in the site. Maybe check them out and maybe you can help ID it. Does it have the original engine and clutch? The salsbury clutches are dated. The have a larger 2 digit number stamped on them. That is the year.

Hi Dagwood, welcome to the site. The best thing to do is start reading through the forums and look at different threads regarding snow, tracks, etc. You will get a feel for how each machine performs and from there you can begin narrowing down your decision. If you can, find someone close to you that has a Max or Argo and go ride or drive one in person so you know how they perform.
