My name is Tim and I a really new to the 6X6 world. I just picked up a max IV and it does not have the I guess you would call it the inner shell with the seats. Some has taken out the original motor and put it a 483cc chapperl snowmobile engine in it. I pick this up saturday and got it running fairly good. I threw a board in it for a seat and took it for a little drive down my drive way and back. Now I know if moves I am going to start the resto on it. Where is a good place to find parts or a manuel for this. Thanks in advanced. I am looking forward to having a lot of fun with this. I will try and get some pic and figure out how to load them on here.

Welcome Brian,
Great lookin attex you have. Lots of fun for sure.
Looks just like yours which brings me to a question, just by looking at it what model do you think it is,I am trying to figure all this out, any help would be appreciated, Brian
Welcome Brian, nice machine. Hope to hear from you in the future. Where you from?
Lewis
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"

I would need more pictures to say. Would you know what motor is in it and size? That would help. Is there a removable grill or is it solid front like mine?
Hello, My name is Bob. I do not currently own a 6X6 Amphibian, but I have had an interest in them since the "Banana Splits" days. Until last year I spent my leasure time flying a powered parachute, but the FAA sucked the fun right out of the sport when they decided there was money to be made licensing, registering, and inspecting these wonderful aircraft. So I now have a powered parachute I can no longer fly and thought I might find someone to trade an AATV for it, or perhaps part it out and keep the 65hp 2 stroke water cooled Rotax to build a screaming AATV.
Hello Bob. You might not have one now,, but , if you come to this forum long enough, and keep watching the amphib video,s you,ll get one sooner or later. Its a VERY addictive hobby.

welcome Tool room,
Mudbug is right. You are already addict. Denial is stage one.
Sorry to hear about the land of the free getting more restricted and less free.
Thanks Mudbug, Larry, this is a really nice site you have here. I'm gonna spend some time here learning about AATV's so that I can make an informed decision when I start shopping for my latest fix.
