hey guys im going to make tensioners for the 6x6 and was thinky of just using a piece of hardwood and have it pushing up on the bottom chain with two bolts or having a spring loaded tensioner pulling the two chains together but that only takes the slack out of it and their will still be backlash in the chains when i turn and brake wich would put alot more stress on the whole drive
what do you guys think

Kelvin, I love this thing! I know "how" it steers, but how is the *quality* of steering? Have you had it up to any speed to see if it takes any more/less steering input, and how it responds? You could really fit some monster tires on this thing (33s? 35s?). This is going to be one big AATV with the body on it.
Looks like a beautiful late summer's day in Australia....sigpic

it steers well at speed just turn the wheel a bit and it turns like a car really and yes it is going to be big with the hull around it.
i also weighed it today total is 630kg (1400 pound) 230kg (500 pound) on front axel 320kg (705 pound) on middle and 80kg (180 pound) at back
i also think i will gear it down again to give it more tourqe
