      There are a handful of members that are pushing over 50HP to the T20 without any issues. The reduction is 6.25:1. You can order one from the factory and they will ship to Australia or try to find one used by posting a wanted ad here on the site with Australia in the subject line. There are several members from Australia so you may have a small chance of finding one semi-locally

        Thanks Mike i might do that but the reduction in the t20 may be to much for what i whant at the moment i have a 2.5:1 reduction off the diff so if i put a t20 in i would have to gear it up and change heaps of stuff i might still ask around for one and see wether their is any available in aus for a version 2 6x6 mabe

            Look at this parts diagram on Page 6, item number 29: http://www.argoatv.com/_uploads/recr...1412.pdfv1.pdf

            That is the plastic duct that mounts around the disc brakes on an Argo Avenger. Number 16 is a blower that runs all the time when the ignition is on, blowing cool air from outside the machine onto the disc brakes.

              thanks mike does the plastic go around the rotors or does it just blow air onto them?

                The rotors sit inside of the plastic so that air is blown as directly on them as possible.

                    got my sprockets for the extra reduction it should be able to climb up trees with its new ratio of 4 to 1

                            chris are you meaning the ratio in the gear box and is the ring and pinion in the diff and know i dont know either i havnt got a tacho on it so its a bit hard to work out

                              Kelvin, ring and pinion is the diff mate. You can work out the ratios by turning the output shaft one full turn (accurately) and counting the turns of the input shaft. Or, if the gear box and diff is a combined unit turn the drive shafts one full turn and count the front pulley turns (crankshaft) This will give you the amount of turns the engine does for one turn of the wheels.
                              If you turn the driveshafts / wheels make sure they both turn together.

                                Kelvin usually when I purchase a car I go and purchase a repair manual for it also. I have one for Volkswagon that tells me pretty much all the info I need for all the motors and trans. I would encourage you to get one for your doner car. Torq times first gear ratio x ring and pinion ratio x your 4 to 1 ratio should get you in the ball park for torq to the axles. My build puts out about 2500 to the axles at 2600 rpm. Its easy to figure you just need the #s.
