i don't mind changes in rules, if you all come to an agreement post it so it available to everyone. Maybe just call it class "A" as "stock is misleading and has nothing to do with the NATVA rules.

My intent is to promote an available and affordable alternative to 2 strokes to grow the sport.
I'm building a Hustler with a 440 cc single cylinder clone. My Hustler was an original 16 hp Kohler so maintaining a 4 stroke keep it close to stock. BTW the original Kohler displacement would make it a "B" stock.

if you want to limit the HP then there should also be provision for weight.

Personally i think we go racing with what ever variation "A" based upon the displacement rule and fan air cooled and see how it shakes out this year.

Almost seems like you guys are determined to take the fun out of this. Throw the NATVA rules out and set some basic safety rules as Little G has done and create simple class divisions.
There aren't enough machines to worry about things like H.P. or weight. Perhaps in the future there will be enough but not now.

Keep it simple and keep it fun, that is why we all started doing this to begin with.

It is my understanding when we were at the Latrobe PA race last year and we were discussing the class rules for A stock we would do the following.
        1. All safety rules in place.
        2. The engine must have started out life as a single cylinder, air cooled, and 300 cc or less. We are able to take that engine and do what we can. Example: larger boar, different carburetor, pointless ignition, porting, custom exhaust, whatever.

'Didn't mean to start anything, gentlemen. How about mod class, can we run gas turbines?
Stuck in the seventies- not in the swamp.

          (6) Attex, a Hustler, a Super Swamp Fox, (2) Tricarts, (3) Tri-sports, a Sno-co trike, 3 Dunecycles, and a Starcraft! ...so far

Only if it's limited to no 2 fuel and the exhaust is limited to 1"

So the 4 stroke formula should apply limit 500 cc single any thing goes.

Don, do what you think is coolest. If you can make a t-20 work on off a small jet engine, use it.
l like to buy stuff and no I don't do payments!

Ok so A class will be a limit of 20hp how you get there is up to you and I just purchased the dyno to keep you all even if its a 20hp turbine thats fine 20hp turbo diesel that works too so how does that sound boys.

This is getting technical! I plan on running a 20 horse engine with a vintage Ski Doo horsepower doubler between the T20 and sprockets, does that fly? If I run 6" of clearance between my helmet and top bar and have an eight point cage tied to the frame, do I have to wear pants? What if it's too hot for pants? Can I use Roman numerals for my ID number? 'Was thinking MC/X

Thinking about putting an ejection seat on the Bumpkin III so I don't have to ride along on the rollovers!

Hey that's a great idea! We could hook it up to a drag chute to slow you up just enough so we can catch up to ya! Ya, I know, the race smack is starting up already.
