I'm glad you all liked the video! I hoped it wasn't boring, I had to cut it down from 20 minutes

You're welcome! It's not the first time those shoes have been mucky

I would give your video two Big thumbs up for the great camera angles and the zoom in shots. When do you think you'll have a Mudd-Ox video with the Vendetta tires in the lake?

Dave, I do not know if Nick had any time to do any video of the Vendetta tires on the new Mudd-Ox they had at the event. Between racing, it being gone for test drives and me grabbing Nick to video me, I think he may not have any video but I do not know for sure. What I do know is Matt took it in the water while I was in the pond with the Hustler and we were about dead even for top speed.

Your Hustler 980 , Deep tub has some really impressive swim speed. If Matt was in the water with you in his Mudd-Ox and both of your machines were about dead even in the water, then that's really impressive for a machine that weighs much more than your machine does.

Yea, but that Matt is sort of a cheater, he had an extra pair of Vendettas on his Mudd-Ox.

So Matt was running 16 Vendetta's tires in the lake?

Nope, I ran 6, he ran 8. I am sure he will make his own videos now that the Mudd-Ox XL is released. My interest in the tires is fueled by fun and Matt shares my interest in the vintage machines so he is supporting my folly by allowing me to purchase tires first and try them on different things. Next stop is Tim's to let him try them on some Argos and design a grouser and set of tracks to go over the Vendettas on the Hustler. The 980 is destined to be a tracked machine.

                Keith.

This sounds like an awesome plan. Can't wait to see the video's of your next plan. A video of an 6x6 Argo Frontier with the Vendetta tires on it swimming in pond or lake would be good too.

I'll let you in on a little secret. The first "A" in "AATV" stands for.....amphibious.

Hey Keith, your Hustler was extremely fast in the water, the fact that Matt was able to match your top speed with a Vendetta equipped diesel Mudd Ox is more then impressive, it is truly remarkable. That tire and diesel combination is going make the new line and new generation Mudd Ox a great success. My hat is off to Matt for being a leader and innovator!

I can't wait to see a tracked Vendetta equipped Hustler with over twelve inches of ground clearance!

I am looking forward to having the Vendettas fitted with Adair tracks. The lower tread and square profile should take Tim's tracks well. I am thinking I am going to request a belted track with a larger taller grouser to try and fill the space under the tub. The Adair tracks take very little power to turn and I think they even out the stress to the driveline. I am thinking it should handle the tracks in stock form and finally with Matt's Vendetta tires and Tim's Adair tracks the 980 tall tub Hustler will be able to fullfill its destiny.

Not really sure but I thought this belted tracked system had Vendetta equipped 980 Hustler written all over it! A Vendetta equipped Hustler with this track will surely be the King of the Beast!

YES! A purpose built 26" AATV tire for my Hustler 980 tall. I'm so glad I waited to replace the Terras. Now I wait to see what the price will be and if I can swing it.
1984 Hustler 980 and some other toys that won't even swim.

Looks like Matt has added a 16 inch wide tire to the Vendetta tire lineup.

Here is a picture of the 12", 14" and new 16" wide tires to give you an idea of how they look compared to each other.

And of course in keeping with Matt's personal obsession with the vintage AATVs here are a couple shots with an NOS Fatcat by BF Goodrich.
